Hello KANGA Families,

Summer is usually considered volleyball’s off-season, used to improve players’ strength and conditioning, jump training, etc. Overtraining is a consideration, especially with young athletes, and especially hitters. There is a lot of forward throwing motion with the dominant arm and back exercises/core strength is needed to prevent injury.

But tryouts are starting in early July this year, and there seems to be a heavy demand from players who want to get reps before then. So we will be having skill clinics on Wednesday evenings from 5pm-8pm in June and July!

We are going to keep the clinics purposefully small; each clinic will be on one court with a max of 20 players.

Registration

The registration for July clinics will be sent out in mid-June.
